Congratulations, Eric! What an amazing "Self-Portrait"! Art All State is a collaborative, rigorous art program that brings talented juniors together from all over Massachusetts once a year to work with artists to create a large-scale art installation. Eric Rakowski, one of Granby Jr Sr High School's top artists, was nominated by his art teacher, Beth Stapert, to participate in what turned out to be a "remote" collaborative venture. Eric, now a senior, and the other Art All State attendees, received all their art supplies in the mail this fall and participated live via zoom. Eric's "Self-Portrait" tape sculpture that focused on the theme of vulnerability as well as resilience, will be mailed back to the Worcester Art Museum for the upcoming, yet to be announced, big installation and show.

Covid-19 update 1-19-2021

As of today, the MA Dept. of Public Health is removing the requirement for flu vaccination for attendance for students preschool-through college age. DPH continues to strongly recommend that everyone age six months and older receive their seasonal flu vaccine each year.
