Granby Junior Senior High

August 28, 2022 Dear Granby Junior Senior High School Families, I love this time of year! The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and our students are well rested and ready to transition back to a new year of learning. Our students will return to school for the 2022-2023 school year on August 29, 2022. The school day will begin promptly at 7:30 am and conclude at 1:58 pm. We cannot stress how important it is for our students to arrive in a timely manner. As students arrive on day one, we ask that all junior high students report directly to the cafeteria and for students in grades 9-12 to report to the gymnasium to pick up their schedules and then proceed to their A block. Similar to last year, GJSHS will run a 7-block schedule beginning with A block and concluding with G block. All students 7-12 will follow the same bell schedule. We will continue with a scheduled morning break at no cost. Students in grades 7-9 will take first break and students in grades 10-12 will take second break. All meals (snack/lunch) will be provided at no cost to our students. We will continue to offer outdoor seating as weather permits. Students in grades 7-12 can access their schedules in their Plus Portal account. Students should contact their guidance counselor by email if they have any questions or concerns regarding their schedule. The Ram Report will remain our primary hub for information. You can expect the Ram Report to be sent via email between Friday and Saturday. Please do not unsubscribe from Blackboard connect. Parent’s Night will be held on September 15, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm beginning in the cafeteria. Please click here for more information.
