Stacy burgess

Stacy Burgess is currently employed by Westfield Public Schools, where she is the principal of the Westfield Virtual School and also acts as a principal on special assignment. She has been the principal of Paper Mill Elementary and Amber Gibbs Elementary schools in Westfield as well. Prior to her roles as an administrator, Stacy was a second and third grade teacher as well as a special education teacher at Quarry Hill Community School. She is a Doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Supervision at American International college, earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Western New England College, and her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from UMass Amherst. In 2013 Stacy received the Best Teacher in the Pioneer Valley Award from the Springfield Republican/masslive.com.

Penny Manteria

Penny is currently an assistant principal at Old Mill Pond Elementary School in Palmer. Prior to her time in Palmer, she was the acting vice principal at Stefanik Elementary School and acting assistant principal at Fairview Memorial Middle School in Chicopee. Penny has also been a school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Chicopee. From 1993-95, Penny was a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia where she, among many other things, taught English to adults, substituted at local schools, and wrote grants in Spanish. She holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Education from UMass Amherst and a B. S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Penny is a 2016 recipient of the Grinspoon Award. for Excellence in Education.

Cinthia Sykes

Cindy is currently the principal at Boylston Elementary School and has served as the principal of the Early Childhood Center, director of Early Childhood Programs, and the program director of the TLC (Therapeutic Learning Center) in Agawam. She was employed in Orange for 17 years, where she held the positions of deputy principal, special education teacher, and general education teacher in grades Pre-K through 5. Additionally, she taught first and second grades in Athol. Cindy holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University.
